Shopping Season Late-Night Shopping Returns to London

Be sure to catch up on essential retail therapy and start collecting Christmas gifts as late night shopping returns to London every Wednesday.

Seek out luxury boutiques among Belgravia’s elegant streets and leafy squares, or wander to Knightsbridge, where high-end fashion brands take center stage.

Either way, we have put together a selection of our favourite (and close by) late-night shopping destinations below.

Belgravia

Enjoy late night shopping on Pimlico Road, Motcomb Street and Elizabeth Street, as well as a fabulous Christmas Market in Eccleston Yards on Wednesday 9 November.

Belgravia will also be illuminated with twinkling Christmas lights from 6pm during a fabulously festive Christmas lights switch-on event, and many boutiques and restaurants in the area will be hosting special in-store events.

Additional highlights include free mulled wine, live music, festive floral displays and the chance to meet Father Christmas and two of his reindeer!

Sloane Street

Just around the corner from The Hari you will find the high-end shops of Sloane Street, with everything from Dior to Louis Vuitton on your doorstep.

Most stores are participating in Wednesday’s late night shopping, but don’t take our word for it! Check out the Sloane Street Directory, which guides you through everything the neighbourhood has to offer, from finest fashion and footware brands to the most delectable dining and drinking spots.

King's Road

Chelsea’s King’s Road is also just round the corner from The Hari and is a fabulous shopping destination!

Most shops are now open until 7pm including quirky Anthropologie and stylish RIXO, as well as long-running department store Peter Jones who also have a late opening of 8pm on Wednesdays.

One more thing to note… The Chelsea Christmas Lights Switch-On is taking place on Saturday 19 November. Expect a day of live entertainment and unmissable offers, Champagne and mince pies from your favourite stores plus much much more!

Knightsbridge

Five minutes from our hotel doors, is the luxury shopping destination of Knightsbridge – home to some of the world’s most iconic stores.

Here you will find the famous Harrods lit up with thousands of bright lights, open until 9pm. Occupying nearly one million square feet of retail space across 330 departments, Harrods is a one-stop shopping destination for luxury goods ranging from designer fashion and accessories to vintage Champagnes.

Another beautiful department store is Harvey Nichols, offering a mix of high-end and designer brands. Open until 8pm, visitors can also use the food hall and restaurant on the upper level for a chance to peruse an excellent selection of gourmet foods.

Covent Garden

Slightly further afield, you can stroll the cobbled piazza of Covent Garden and shop to your hearts content.

Whether you are searching for health, beauty, fashion or homeware, the majority of shops here have later openings until 8pm, such as Charlotte Tilbury, Reformation and Mulberry to name a few.

What’s more, from the 8th of November Christmas arrives at Covent Garden! From iconic decorations, a legendary Christmas tree and festive markets, you will have everything you need to create the most magical experience yet. All this can be found in the pedestrianised Piazza and surrounding streets.
